The extended deck invites you to enjoy coffee surrounded by nature.

Nestled in the woods, tell stories around the fire pit, dangle your toes off the hammock chair or kick back with a book. There are lots of little spots waiting for you to seek them out at Bears Den.

Well Rested

A great night’s sleep starts with soft sheets and a quality mattress. We’ve included both in the master bedroom along with extra blankets and a variety of pillows.
S'mores and Stories

Adults and kids can share their best stories and laughs around a campfire! We provide a stack of wood, ready to use. Don’t forget the marshmallows!

Living up to our name, Bears Den offers guests a chance to spot these magnificent black bears in the surrounding woods —a true highlight of any mountain stay!
Full Bed

Featuring a full-sized bed and a writing desk, this cozy room is a lovely retreat at the end of a busy day. Whether you hiked or worked, this bed offers the rest you deserve.
Easy Clean

It’s easy to be distracted by the view from your window. Load up the dishwasher and enjoy the scene, as mama deer and their babies often cross paths with the wild turkeys on the lawn!
Double Duty

The third bedroom is big enough to hold two twin beds easily and there’s still room for a pack ‘n’ play or extra luggage. Each bedroom has generous closet space.
Nature Calls

We’ve seen wild turkeys, deer and plenty of incredible birds but there may be no greater thrill than when you see a black bear and her cubs lumbering by. We advise that you to never approach them but if you can get a good view from the window or at a distance, they are extraordinary to see in real life.
